I have a A1 upper reciever that I'm going swap out on my A4 RRA 9mm, & it needs refinished to match the lower. I bought a can of Matte Black Alumahyde II (their recomedation) from Brownel's. The Brownel's tech rep said to have it bead blasted for best results. So I take it down to the gunshop in town, & he shows me how to do it & lets me go at it.

My question is, is it supposed to have turned silver? What about the hard anodizing, is that still on there? I guess I just want to make sure I didn't screw it up or weaken the metal. I'd hate for it to go KABOOM! Any tips or advice is welcome.

Thanks
