Site Notices

I have been reading all I can on this site for a couple of weeks now, & am getting ready to do my first build. I have not seen any comments on using the Les Baer Upper & Lowers. Is this mainly because of the price? I want to build a flat top & am planning on using a LaRue 12" FF, & would like the finish of the FF tube to match whatever lower & upper I am going to use. I see alot of posts on LMT uppers as being great but every picture I see the finish does not look close to the other lowers I am seeing like RRA is this correct? The LMT looks like a shinier finish. Thanks for helping out a Newbie.

Mac

Edit: I posted this in the upper & lower section probably where it should belong. Thanks

Can't speak for any but myself, but  IMHO, the Les baer stuff is wayyyyy more money and when you get right down to the nitty gritty, not any better. But then to each his own. I do know that you'd be better off buying a complete rifle from Baer rather than parts. Baer is a custom shop and what you're paying for is their assembly.

My two cents worth, anyway,
Pete
