First let me thank everyone who has responded to my many questions. I have finally decided to take the plunge and have chosen to go with the Model-1 in either M4 or CAR. I'm going with them based on what I've read on this board and due to the fact that they are the cheapest in price!
I'm still not certain what caliber I should go with, .223 or 5.56? Was hoping to get a little more advice on that and on what lower would match this kit best? There is a gun show in my area next weekend and I'm gonna go there to hopefully find the stripped lower! I am also going to pick up a magazine or two and wanted to know which ones would be a good buy? Anything else I should look for at the gun show?

.223 would be for a bench gun. Since your going with a M4 ([;)]) get a 5.56 chamber.

As for a lower, any brand will work, and several brand's can be found under $100. Just be sure to get a forged receiver, and not a cast one.

5.56 is the caliber of choice.

Be sure to get a forged lower receiver!  I got a Rock River Arms from Eagle Firearms, good price and service.
