Hi, I would like to know how Armalite parts compare to others big name ie: Bushmaster, Olympic etc.

Armalite is every bit as good as Bushmaster, some would say better.  

Armalite parts that are better than Bushmaster:

Roll Pins -- nice smooth coils rather than the closed C type.

Trigger Guard -- beautiful aluminum instead of cheap plastic.

Lower Receiver Extension Tube -- reinforced at the neck with extra material that even makes the stock fit more appropriately snug.

I'd agree they're better.  I've used a lot of parts on build yourself projects.  The NM triggers are machined instead of cast and they seem to build their other parts to a higher grade.  There's a lot of rumor that all the factorys use the same suppliers but from what I've seen my Armalite parts are different than bushy and the surplus guys.  A lot of the surplus or pistol guys making rifles seem to be buying from the same suppliers but you can see on armalite.com that Armalite makes a lot of their own stuff.
