i'm ordering a new lower next week to start on a aow project and i have a couple of questions about the atf form 1.on line 4b should i list all calibers that i might want to run just to be safe.

Stick with the std AR caliber of 223 Rem. No need to confuse them with all kinds of info, they'll think you are trying to pull a "fast one" with multiple entries per box.  

If you choose to amend your info after the form is approved, thats yours to do, but it is not required by law.

My Mac10 is listed in 9mm and 45ACP on the Form 4 and it went through ok. It would be fine to list all the calibers you plan on shooting. You could also list it as a 223 on your Form 1 and then notify them in writing of the new calibers after it is approved. Either way will work.

For caliber say:

MULTI

It is legal/legit and covers your 6.  Speaking from experience.
