I know there is another thread similar but to keep it separate...

Does anybody know if this battery will work or damage the L7 light.

Surefire B90

mAh:  1500
base:  NiCD

Batteryspace says it will give longer shelf life and 20% burn rate.  He also said I can use the Surefire charger.  Are all these claims legit?  Is it worth going away from OEM part?
