I have an OTAL (thanks C4) and a new Tango Down foregrip.  The pressure pad is too long.  Can I just trim the bottom?  If not, what do people do?

You can trim it. Call LDI direct for details. However, I trimmed mine, and wish I had left it alone because it only works on the top 1/3 of the switch.

I suggest you get a "Mountain Bike Tire" inner tube, and cut a wide (1") band and put it on the bottom of the switch where it protrudes below the TD Vertical grip. This will keep it from snagging, and ensures the tape switch will not come out of the TD Grip recess.

Trust me...this is the best approach.

Where did you get the dovetail insert?

Made it outta sheet syrene and a strip of Velco.

Put a couple of Zip Bands on that set-up, and call it good! (Zip Bands can be made of Mountain Bike Inner Tubes cutintio 1" to 3" strips.) Like big "Rubber Bands".

This will secure the switch from being ripped off if it catches on something. This IS a real concern.
