Nope, I think you have not done enough research. You should have gotten a PentagonLight M-Series light instead. I got a non-mounted one as a backup light from PentagonLight for myself. I was so impressed by its quality that I recommended to our dept, which just replaced the surefire classic lights on the AR's with MS2 light.

Don't know if Grant gets them. He should be and will know what I am talking about if he has seen their work. So, I would say you got a bad deal. Laser Devices are so poorly made compared to Pentagon given the same money. You probably should return it and exchange for a Pentagon MS2 instead.

Thos Pentago lights do have some cool features, but they do cost more, and I don't see that they're all that much better than what I got. I'm still happy with what I got.

I let the place know that GandRtactical.com had the light for 20.00 cheaper, and he refunded the difference, so it worked out ok. But I'll still be going to Grant for the IR cover.
