In many ways the X200's beam is outclassed by the P61 - at least double the Lumen output  - the P61 is a "wall of light" compared to the X200's very tight beam.
Comparing LED beams to incandscent beams is not easy since they are very different. The P61 looks quite yellow directly compared to the X200 but really it's very white and far fuller spectrum. The LED light will be washed out more easily by ambient light and some people find it easier to see detail with incandescent light. The white LED light can be more blinding though.
Of course, the X200 has long regulated runtime, durability and compactness as well as the ability to cut throw smoke etc.

How bright is the X200 and how does it compare to a P61 Bulb?

I think the P60 outdoes it somewhat, so the P61 is certainly "better" if you want more power.

But at least the LED won't break, like the fairly new P60 I have sitting on my desk right now.

I've not seen an X200B.
The X200A has always been just the beginning.

I'm a ... what's the paracord for?

I'm guessing dummy cord in case the mount loosens.  You don't want to lose a three hundred dollar light, so a nickel's worth of paracord is good insurance.

SureFire makes the FINEST weaponlights on the planet. The streamlight M6X is a handgun weaponlight and is pretty good for that task. It however is NOT better than ANY SF weaponlight...

Agreed.

Exactly.  I don't trust one thumb screw.

Brightflashlights -

What type of shim or adapter are you using to make an E2d fit 1" weaver rings?  I was just looking at my 7.5" AR15 Pistol which has a useless railed gas block on it.  Since it is an A3 flat top with a reflex sight on it I don't need the rail on the gas block.  I tried to mount my SF Scout on the gas block but the bezel overhangs the flash hider and would probably fry the lense from the muzzle blast.  I have an extra E1e laying around the house and an extra clickie tail cap from an E2d.  This pistol would look awsome with a little E1e mounted on top of the gas block.  Since I don't use the pistol for anything other than plinking the 15 lumens that the E1e puts out is not an issue.  I just like the "cool factor"

Brightflashlights -

I have a first generation E1 that has the pocket clip screwed to the outside of the bezel.  I removed the clip and the hole is not drilled all the way through the bezel so it is still waterproof.  I am going to mount it on the railed gas block with the YHM Angle Mount that I got from you.  Since the FF handguard is only 4.5" long on this AR Pistol the E1 is the only light small enough to actually look and function well.  This is only a plinker or bullet hose so the lumen output is not critical.

Please IM me with a price on a clickie tail cap in hard anodized green (to replace the momentary cap now on the E1) along with the rubber adapter needed to mount to my Weaver ring.

Thank for your help
