I just purchased a 1-4 and have a few questions.

Straight out of the box and wrapper, haven't even mounted on a rifle.

I put in the battery but the reticle is not lighting up, I tried both ways and checked for plastic.

When I zoom from 1-4 the BDC does not change size. When I tried one a while ago I remember the reticle getting larger at 4x?

Any thoughts?

Try a different battery first. And make sure you are not putting it in backwards.

The reticle DOES NOT change size. The drop reticle is only valid at 4x, use it as a red dot on 1x and the drop at 4x.

I left the battery in over night, it works now... Weird.
