The Vortex Viper 2-7X32 has dropped in price again at SWFA. The scope is being discontinued but it is a very nice scope for the price SWFA is wanting. I bought one for my 6.8 with a American Defense QD mount. I also ordered a custom turret through Vortex calibrated for the hunting round I will be using. Very Nice.

I just logged in to post this.
I have a vortex viper 2x7 32 that I bought for 169 (on sale) and have been very very happy and I shoot my ar15 constantly. Also have used this scope at night with an olight 350 lumens and in my opinion has great light transmission. price is down to 149 or something. big thing about vortex scopes is that they have an UNCONDITIONAL lifetime warranty. no registration or warranty cards or receipts needed (if I remember right... someone correct me if I am wrong).

what reticle do these have? 30MM tubes? I am looking for a decent SPR type scope that won't kill my bank account....

I'd suggest the Vesiplex (shown here http://swfa.com/Vortex-2-7x32-Viper-Rifle-Scope-P11227.aspx ) for your application. Go to the website listed above for info on the custom turrets. Basically you find a load the rifle likes and send the datta to Vortex and they make you a Turret that matches the load and gives you yardage on the turret. The web site also explains the reticle. |
