I'm considering buying my first ACOG but I've never seen one in person. How hard is it to take the factory mount off and put the scope portion onto a Larue mount?

Its just two flathead screws on the bottom. take those out, switch mounts and put the Larue supplied screws in. Easy pesy japanesy

Yep it's easy to mount the ACOG in the LaRue mount.  However, getting the ACOG out of the Trijicon mount can be a bitch.  They love loctite, red from what I've seen.
