I'm ready to get a magnifier.  The gun it is going on is running an Aimpoint Micro T-1.  I have a VLTOR VIS on my Noveske upper, so rail space is not an issue here.  Most shooting is inside 300 yds with this gun.  It is a real world gun carried on patrol.

Is there any benefit to the Aimpoint 3x magnifier over the po boy hensoldt?  I realize the aimpoint is 3x while the poboy is 2.5x.  Is it worth an extra $400 for the aimpoint model?  Thanks.

Now that the Aimpoint magnifier clones are out with more magnification and good glass..not really.  I played with an authentic AimPoint magnifier at the Vegas Shot Show and admittedly, it does have a little bit more eye relief though.  Glass quality is a lil' bit better but not by much.
