The first thing I would suggest looking for in all honesty is the SEARCH button. Type in ONLY the word EOTech, select AR15 community and change the drop-down box to the max time you can search. I got 72 results by doing that. Of course not all of them pertain to your questions, but you can easily pick out the ones that do by their titles. |

I picked the 552F because eventualy ill have night vision,its a wider field of view,the holograph image can only be seen on the operator side,AA batteries common anywhere,I think its biggest asset is the field of view especialy with both eyes open compared the tube of an aimpoint.Thats why I chose this model and this sight over aimpoint.

The 552 and 512 Eotechs are great choices. If you do not see yourself running Night Vision gear, you might stick with the 512. It does not give you the option of running NV, but it is a bit cheaper, and is just as tough as the 552. If you see yourself in the forsee able future having NV gear, go with the 552. If you buy used, make sure it is Rev F, this is the latest and last the longest on batteries. If you want to go new I have a couple 512's instock, contact me for ARFcom pricing. |

The revision F has the latest electronics, higher brightness setting, the reticle is slightly sharper and the battery life is much longer than the previous revisions.
