It works great for 200 and longer distances... At least it does for me.

Even with my (in need of glasses) 40 year old eyes I could engage targets out to 300+ meters. |

Once zeroed you will most likely be really surprised at how accurate it is at 200 yds, unless your eyes are a bit of a snag seeing. It is no problem to pop targets at 200 yds. I have the models 551 and 552 rev F for reference.

The bigger question is...
Are you good enough to engage targets at 200m. Your Eotech certainly is. |

EoTech would be better than an Aimpoint for longer ranges due solely to a 1MOA dot as opposed to a 2 or 4 MOA dot.

+1 for Hokie's comments.
I've had my EOTech to the range just once so far. At 100 yards the groups are significantly smaller than those shot with irons and ammo from the same lot number. Occasionally I can shoot to 300 yards and have little doubt the improved accuracy provided by the EOTech will continue at that distance. |
