I think you need to provide a bit more data as to what you are trying to do so people can give an educated answer.

What type of AR is it going on? Flat top, carry handle, 16”, 20”, 24” barrel?  Do you want to use it for anything other than target shooting @ 100 yards?  Is it going on a carbine you may want to use up close or a precision rig that you may use to hunt or solely for target shooting?

A variable powered optic (like the Trijicon TR21) is a good choice as it is cheap and versatile.

What a waste of a varminter, only 100 yards.

He did say 100 + Yards.

You have a nice rifle, put nice glass on it.  For your application a good 3-9 or 3.5-15 would be applicable, or even a fixed 10x.  Don't waste money on cheep glass or you will end up buying again.

whats the better a buy a Nikon 2.5-10x44 Tactical 30mm Riflescope or a XOTIC USS

The bell on a XOTIC is HUGE - 56mm - so you'll have to mount the scope high off the boreline to clear the front handguards. The XOTIC is also 4-16x, which is better matched to a precision rifle, not a varminter.

The Nikon will mount closer to the boreline and 10x will get you out to 600 yards, which is about as far as you want to shoot standard 5.56 rounds anyway (77gr and below, not the 80+ grain match rounds).

If you want a solid scope with clear glass and good internals, buy a Super Sniper 10x from SWFA. It's all the scope you'll need for your 20" AR.
