I figured that since the front and rear sight appear to use the same base the fronts would eventually come with the new clamp.  Anybody seen one?

Just curious, have any of the front sights been canted?  I've got two Troy fronts, no cant.  I've avoided the Troy rears.

I can't recall hearing of issues with the fronts.  Kind of strange considering that they appear to use the same base.  I've had trouble with canted rears in the past, but my latest one with the new clamp is perfect (except for the crooked markings ).

I noticed your sights come in FDE.  Are you refinishing them or are you getting them from Troy that way?

Grant,

If we're not having specific problems with the old-style clamp, do we gain anything by switching to the new style?
