Hey, new to the site and I am already hooked....you guys have helped a lot with questions I have had concerning my AR....anyways, one question I have had but didn't want to look like a complete dumbass is attaching optics to my Bushy flat top. I own a Bushmaster M4A3 with the standard A2 sight. What is bothering me is that I'm worried that if I attach any optics, my front sight will block my view, am I being a retard or do I have a valid concern, and if so, what should I do? Once again, thank you for all of your help, it has been much appreciated

If you use a low power optic, the front sight post will only be a little blur in the bottom of the reticle, if you use a high power optic, you will not be able to tell its there. Mount whatever you want and don't worry about the front sight.

What type of optics do you have in mind? Red dot, magnified?

Umm....looking into an Eotech, Trijicon ACOG, or Leupold CQ/T, But don't want to mount it on my carry handle, I'd prefer to use my flat top
