It seems like the best thing for the Army to do.  It would give them the same capabilities as the Marine TA31FRCO but in a more usefull package.  I have the aimpoint magnifier and the M3 and think it is more usefull than my TA31F.  BAC workes much better with the Aimpoint system and the Aimpoint + magnifier is much much faster than the Trijicon can ever hope to be. The only downsides to the Aimpoint system are its slightly worse field of view and its lack of a BDC
