Any problems with leaving the batteries in an Eotech for an extended priod of time?  I was wondering if there might be a problem with the batteries leaking and messing things up.

No problems, however if they are going to be in there for a loooong time I'd recommend get a pair of Lithium AA batteries.

I had problems with leaving batteries in my eotech. I'm talking about the type N batteries. Once a battery did rupture and leak when I first got it and recently I had left batteries in the unit for a long time, about 10 months and they were dead when I turned the unit on.

+1 same idea as the good CR123 batteries having a 10 year shelf life
