Was scanning E-bay and noticed that someone is selling Leupold Mk4 Knock off's. AKA a replica. anyone ever ran into one of these yet?

lol I dunno, was looking for a leupold scope and this guy is advertising it as a Mk4 M1 3.5-10 IR then it has replica in perinthisies. Its about timeley because isnt someone also copying the ACOG and the Aimpoint?

It is making me fearful of buying anything on the EE, other than from known sources or suppliers. You never know what kind of crap you are getting. In fact, one of my "KAC 600m" sights I got of the EE is now suspect. It still works, but it burns my ass to think it may be a cheap copy that I paid alot for.

I have been seeing more and more knockoff items lately and more and more people getting screwed by guys saying they are just as good as the real thing. We sell Tacpoints and it is not an optic I would recommend to someone using it on anything bigger than a 223 for plinking.
