First, check EE and see if any of the AR15.com sponsors have them.

If not, search the net.

I bought my from JPRifles: http://jprifles.com/Trijicon.shtml for $1075

Last time I checked (a week ago), they still had about a dozen left.

Wait for the Army to switch over to the XM-8 and then buy one of the "Iraqi freedon" models.  Trust me, spend the extra $100.

If you want one, buy one when you see it.  I picked one up a few months ago for 1150, not cheap but I have it.  Is saving some money worth waiting months to get one, it's up to you.  For me, the extra cost was worth it, I love mine.

They're around.  Just expect to glue yourself to the computer for the next few days.  At that price, they go quickly.

I just bought a NIB one from a dealer for a grand and I thought that was a good price. I usually see them for $1050-1150.

Check out niceshot.net. Not $900, but they have them.

If you are "wrong eye" dominant then the extra cost of the BAC models are useless for you.
Just in case you didn't know that.

do you mean if you use a different hand to shoot than the side of your dominant eye?

Becuase I am left handed and left eye dominant and the BAC works great for me.
