i just assembled a parts kit but i noticed the entire rear site assembly has some play in it.  It feels like it is spring loaded and will move side to side if i push on it.

Is there anyway to tighten this up and take the play out of it??
Is a little bit of play normal?

Thanks,

Stone

The reason for the spring-loaded detent is so that the sight will be in the same side to side position after adjusting for range. All A2 sights are like this; some might have a little more "play" in them than others, but it's normal. No reason for concern.
