Anyone have one? How much higher is it than the Armalite? How does it compare?

They're WAY higher than the Armalite...I measured it a while back..I *think* it's like 1 7/8" from the bottom of the mount to the mid point of the rings.  I don't know why they make it this tall, but it borders on being too high for every day use.

Thanks for the input. I think 1.4" is about where I want to be. Looks like I'll end up with the Armalite.

Take a serious look at the LaRue tactical mount.

I've had the ARmalite, and it's nice, but the LaRue simply rocks.  Holds zero much better, lighter, etc...
