I have one of these night vision scopes. I am sick of the cr123 battery requirement due to the fact that I can't get them for less than $14 for the two required to run the thing.  There doesn't seem to be any rechargable cr123's available. Is there ANY way to make the thing run with AA's? (two cr123s used, each 3volt. I figured 4 AA's at 1.5volts would equal the 6.)  Would something as stupid as a 4 AA battery holder from radio shack work? At least then I might be able to keep the battery bill down some. I'd work on waterproofing the setup after finding out what works.hinking.gif

why don't you just buy surefire batteries the are about 3.99  a pack of two at my local sportsmans warehouse from surefire direct you can buy a box (i think about 12) for around $15. you would not want to convert it to take any other batt . Not long enough usable life
