24mm seems pretty skinny to me. I want a trijicon too. My solution -- strap a $30 BSA red dot on that bitch and hope it lasts long enough for me to save for the Trij. So far works fine.

Do a search on the M2's. They are nice scopes for the money.

I played with a rifle at a match Saturday that had the 1.1-4 IOR with the new CQB reticle on it. It was very nice. I was shooting the match with a 2x20 mini ACOG.

The Valdada 4 power M2 is a nice scope with great glass. The glass comes from the same factory which makes glasss for Swarkoski (sp?) scopes.  My only negative on the item is that it is a fixed four power scope.     I would recommend the 1.1-4 x 26 Valdada scope with either the cross hairs / dot or the cqb reticle.    A great variable power at half the price of an Acog.

There are numerous dealers that offer the Valdada product line at better prices than SWFA. I know that is not the party line on this board, but SWFa is on the high end for the Valdada line.  If you are interested, check around and price check with various vendors.

Size is a issue ,I don't want it to be top heavy .I cant see why the TRIJICON is so costly ?

I have played with the ACOG's, and can't afford them, but will say that they are built tough. I would have no problem dropping one and know that it will work right. They don't skimp on durability or quality. That, availability, and their name is why they are so expensive.

Bob who owns Cactus Tactical is a good guy. I shoot matches with him on a monthly basis.

I have one with the Dragunov reticle. I am very pleased. Bought mine from Cactus Tactical and they shipped it fast, no muss, no fuss.

If you don't wear eye glasses save yourself $100 and get the M1 model that lacks the diopter adjustment of the M2.
