It looks like it´s prototype of new ER 3.5. I saw ER on local gunshow here and wrote the specs of that scope but it´s long gone and I don´t have search... [:(]
It seemed very rugged and it has very good optics. Only problem they still have (then) they haven´t had strong enough mount to take beating of the LMG´s They tried Elcan mount but it wasn´t strong enough(!). That´s what I was told. MN |

Maybe they should stick to making the optics and let others like ARMS, KAC and PRI make mounts for them.

I like the way you can flip the Killflash out of the way but I don't like the integrated mount. I can't think of any use for the top rail either.
If they're looking to replace the M68 they'll have to do better. |

Yeah, the integral mount does'nt look too great.
Looks like they took a few steps back with the hardware. Hardware store nuts?[%|] I'm curious as to the advantages it has over an M68 CCO? |

Well, no. Sweden's last war was in 1814.
In war with France and Denmark, "The Napoleon War of King Karl XIV Johan". Allied with Sweden: England, Russia, Austria and German states. War campaign in Germany against Napoleon (France) and a war with Denmark. The Swedish King, Karl XIV Johan, was Commander-in-chief of the allied Northern Army. That was an Army of 155.000 troopers. Sweden also made an attack on Denmark (The danes were an allied of Napoleon). Peace on January 15, 1814 in Kiel with Denmark. Peace on May 30, 1814 in Paris with France. |

They had these under the table last year at SHOT for discerning customers (I found out from Wes...) When we looked at them to a man we started laughing - it had an C79/ELCAN mount.
I guess they wised up to the mount - but all in all I think they should stick to the 1x M2 's and leave magnified optics to others. |

I think it's a modified FNC, AK5.

Regarding the Carl Gustav 84mm RR
The M2 Carl Gustav is the primary section level anti-tank recoiless rifle which employs two kinds of ammunition for the weapon. The primary round is the High Explosive Anti-Tank commonly referrd to as HEAT. The effective range os this round of ammunition is 700m. The second round is the High Explosive Dual Purpose Round (HEDP). This round was specifically designed to destroy bunkers and fortified positions. The effective range of this ammunition is 500m. The Carl Gustav is best served by a two man crew. One fires the weapon and the other carries ammunitions and acts as the loader. The weapons is fitteed with iron sights, and it is equipped with a 2x optical sight with a 17 degree field of view. It can be fired from the standing, kneeling or prone position. When fired on flat surfaces, the weapon is supported by a flexible bipod mounted immediately in front of the shoulder |

Duffy, I was not saying that they could not build quality weapons because they have not been in a war for quite a while, but that everyone in the industry is finding that it is when a weapon, or sighting system is in combat for a while that the truth about it begins to come out, |

Yuk. Looks like the el cheapo $30 BSA red dot that Wal-Mart sells. The mounts look about that quality, too. I think I'll stick with the ARMS mounts and AMRS #40, and go ACOG for my magnified optic needs.
