I just "borrowed" 1 from my buddy who owns a gun shop. That means I will buy it. It has no box but it says " Law Enforcement and Military use. Which model is it. BTW I love it!!

You have either a 511 or a 512. If it takes the AA batteries it is a 512 and if it takes N batteries it is the 511. There are two main differences with these compared to the 551 and 552. They are not NV compatiable and don't have the raised rubber face plate. To use the new face plate is to love it! [:D]

my 511 came with a sticker that said,"for law enforcement and military use."

my 552 has it printed on the side in the same place the 511 had the sticker.

the 510 and 550 series are both considered for law enforcement and military use. the protective hood around the sight is one of the differences between le/mil and the civi version.
