Anybody know if that combo will work? I've got a Weaver style Kobra already and need to know if it will work ok with the bushy front sight. I've seen some that put the dot right on the front sight post.

It will work, but I believe it's going to be too tall to co-witness properly.  I'd sell the Kobra and either buy an AimPoint, or if you can't/won't afford that, an OKO, which is similiar to but much better than the Kobra.

Kobra wont leave room for a BUIS.  The front sight is irrelevant.  From a former Kobra owner I say sell it and upgrade.
