It would require removal of the screw that normally holds the mount to the carry handle, which would require either cutting the screw or unscrewing the mount from the scope.  The latter option may compromise the scope.  Anyway, you'd then need to drill and tap the mount for the screws used by the ACOG mount.  You'd then end up with a scope that mounted far too low, which could be corrected with an ARMS or GG&G rail, at yet more cost.

While you COULD do it, it certainly isn't worth the money and time necessary to make it useable, given how lousy those scopes are to begin with.

I mean, you could put a $5,000 paint job and nice rims & tires and a high-end custom stereo in a Ford Pinto, but it's still a Pinto...
