I live in Florida, so there is no restrictions on mag rd capacity. I have a Bushmaster AR15 5 rounder, and would like to at least double its capacity. They use an orange anti-tilt follower, and an oversized spring as the stop. The "stop" part of the spring, well, has no spring left in it. Just bunches together at the bottom like a slinky, allowing only 5 rounds. Best way to go about this?

Maybe I am not fully understanding what you are asking.  Why not just get a new 30rd magazine and call it a day.

Well it to someone who wants or needs a 5-rounder.  Buy what you want with the money.  It's faster and easier.

Then buy a 20 or 30 and cut it down.

Rocky waited a year and a half to muster this post so it can be assumed there are no funds for a common mag he is asking for

It's (probably) a C-Product mag. Buy a 30rd spring, keep installing-removing-cutting until it holds 10rds.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just go and buy a 10 round mag if thats what you want.

Thank you for an answer and not a wise crack. I like to use what I have, spend as little as possible and achieve what I started. Its much more satisfying doing it that way. For me anyway!

I presume this is the mag you want to mod?

Were it me, I'd simply get a 30rd spring and begin clipping it (from the bottom) little by little until the desired length is achieved to hold 10rds.

44Mag.com sells single springs for .99¢ each and CDNN has 3packs of springs for about $3.00.

Did what you said about clipping a little at a time. Worked perfect. Already shot a few full mags at the range with no issues. Simple question that warranted a simple answer. Thanks. And yes, the pic is the same mags I have.
