I just bought 2x polymer mags of ebay.  The guy said they have a maple leaf on them and are old canadian military.  Are these preban?  Is there any way to tell?  They were 35.00 for both, is this a good price?

I have two thermolds that I have never had a feed issue with.  They have been great.  I actually have had a few feed issues with my new bushmaster 10rnd mag.

The American made Thermolds are fine, but the Canadian jobbies were made out of a flimsier material and will sometimes be a problem.  The American Thermolds are my personal favorites, but I picked up a Maple Leaf job just to do a comparison, and found that 1)if you drop a loaded mag on the floor you'll have at least one or two pop out, and 2) if you leave the Canadian job loaded for awhile, the sides swell slightly (like Orlites) and the mag is hard to insert.

Glad I bought the Canadian job to do the camparison, and will use it as a range mag; but my ready mags are, and will continue to be, American Thermolds[:D]
