This load from PPU, private labeled to Global Ordnance, meets our velocity spec for M193 from the 20" :D Good accuracy to boot at least in a 5 shoot group.

When did they add that extra cannelure (or whatever that is midway up from the actual cannelure)?
The last batch of PPU I bought was around 10 years ago and it did not have that. Done to increase fragmentation? |

Done to increase fragmentation? I think what you are seeing is the pullmark from Buffmans collet bullet puller. Buffman... as always thank you for sharing your results. Looks like a GTG M193 clone. |

I think that the extra cannelure question was related to the 'engraved' lines around the bullet about 1/3 down from the tip, not the 'grab marks' immediately above the real cannelure. I didn't originally think that your bullet puller made them (since I would be pretty unhappy with a bullet puller that did that to any bullets I pulled)...
