It's in a brown box. 01,02, 04,& 05 dated all in the same 20 round boxes.(Opened 3) Lake city brass. Some cases have small dents. Minimal tarnish.Looks almost the same as Wally World Remington UMC.Looks like good ammo.
Questions
1.Is it normal to get different year stamps in the same box?
2.Anyone shooting this now & how is it?
3.WTF do I do for the next 8-10 weeks till my new Rock River AR arrives???????

All XM193 looks like that. The last case I bought (lot #102) were all headstamped 05 but it is probably normal for there to be a mix as well. It will shoot great.

IT IS NORMAL FOR XM193, DUDE. Haven't shot that lot.  If this bothers you, sell it to me cheap, and I'll take it off your hands.

I know that it is normal for the PD bulk stuff, but have not heard of it in the Boxed stuff.

Anyone else ever find mixed headstamps in the BOXED XM193?

I have found mixed headstamps in my older lot 6 and 7 boxed XM193. I have some newer ammo that I ought to check this out with. It's no biggie in any event.

I'm still wondering about the mixed dates. Most of you say some mix is normal. My lot 96 is pretty evenly mixed as to the years listed in original post, It looks like good ammo. Just seems strange to have 4 different year stamps in the same box. Many of you list 1 or 2 different dates. Anyone else seen this?

I got mixed head stamps in lots103 (currently shooting--no problems in AR or Mini14) and either lot 99 or 100. Prior to that, I think they were all the same. These are all boxed--no problems.

Same thing here.  Lot #103  Contains a mix of '04 and '05 brass.

Not a problem for me.  I'm sure it all shoots the same.

Yeah, it happens.  Remember this ammo is
made with "leftover" components.  All the lot numbers indicate is when these
components were assembled, not when the parts were made.

This is not military ammo, it's just packed in a box to look like it.  It's Xm193, not the
real deal, but it's made with the same parts at the same place.

I've got tons of the stuff, and it's all that way.  Nearly every box has at least
2 different headstamps, some of them have 3.    The older ones have fewer, which
makes sense because they were made before demand went up.

If it bothers you, send it to me for proper disposal.
