Hi guys, i have a 16" m-4, 1-7 twist barrel..What would be the best ammnition I could use(ie. weight, and bullet brand) also do you know what accuracy i can expect at 100-300yds. thanks

For antipersonel use Black Hills 77 grain NATO loading from Georgia Precision.  You will have no problem hitting chest-sized groups at 300 yards.

how would 55 and 62 gr. bullets perform out of this barrel

It was the most useful information on ammunition I've come across so far.  It answers all your questions along with explanations (why?) etc.

Just fine...

The M4 barrels are all 1:7

You only need a slower twist for 50gr or lighter ammo (eg 'V-Max' and such)...
