Check Midway USA or Midsouth Shooter's Supply for the bullets.  They're actually made by Speer.

I've never seen anything other than the 55 gr stuff available to civilians.

I had considered using this in the past, but it seems I somewhere saw the ballistics for this round and it appeared loaded a bit milder than most 55 gr rounds. Has anyone ever put this stuff through a chrono? The TBBC is probably the best .223 bullet available outside the military if you want a bit of extra penetration (barriers) but it is really expensive for .223 ammo. I would want to be able to find cheap practice ammo that would shoot to roughly the the same POI before stocking up on much of it. At $18 per box, training would get expensive quickly. Anyone have actual velocities for this round?

thanks for the information. The 62g was interesting, given the stopping potential and penetration. But even the 55g bullets themselves are too expensive to allow sufficient practice. Oh well.

Have you tried any of the Winchester 62gr FMJ for your practice sessions?  It should shoot real close to the the same POI, not exact but close enough for practice.  I have purchased the Win. 62gr at gun shows for $4.00/box of 20.  It comes in a white box just like the Q3131A.

anyone have a feel for how accurate the 55 or 62 Tbond is? Will this shoot into MOA at 300 yards (not considering wind)?
