Is the South African PMP in the boxes with a gazelle the same as the M193 in the battle packs? I was told today that they are, but hopefully someone here can clear that up for me.

The battlepack ammo is military production surplus ammo and is loaded hotter than the gazelle box PMP. The PMP is new commercial production loaded to SAAMI specs rather than mil-spec. Hope this was helpful.
