I have read about some of the problems with
some of the other lots (some 6's and most of 7's) from Lake City.  Has anyone gotten an of lot # 9 yet?  Do they have all there sealent?

Just received a 1000 rds. yesterday. I looks like some of the primers are not sealed !!

Perhaps that is why the stuff is available on the civilian market. "its been surplused because of some sort of quality control problem".

I think Troy had mentioned why ammo is surplused in another thread.

Gun_Collector, the ammo we are speaking about is factory fresh ammo, not surpluss. However, while being new production ammo, it appears some of it is not built to real M193 specs as we expected it to be.
