Any reason not to pick up the Surefire? I am thinking to use it primarily for pistols b/c it's lighter than the Sparrow. |

Quick question... If you didn't use the "thread adapter" how far under the rail would the end of the Sparrow be? Or far would it be out of the end of the rail? Looks like a little less than an inch now with the thread adapter. Maybe the easier question is how much length did the thread adapter add? Reason is that I'm planning a very similar build. Thanks in advance. |

I would say the adapter adds just over half an inch.
Without it the suppressor was exposed maybe a quarter inch. I could not remove it by hand after a session at the range. |

I went to the garage to take a look at one of my door motors that has been acting up and while digging around for the garage door opener manual, I tripped over a parts bin and this fell out (in individual pieces). Despite the P-Mag (just slapped it in there for the pic), its a .22LR. Now I need to source a CMMG SS bolt and charging handle. My 5 year old son keeps talking about sniper rifles so I figured this would be a good build for him to get his feet wet.
Its so weird when these things decide to build themselves. |
