I guess you could have the mag release fence drilled for the spring and detent, then replace it with a regular pin
As for an easy replacement? I dont know, I've seen one somewhere but I cant remember where, I would'nt have trusted it, I do remember it had some kind of spring/ball bearing on the end that stuck way out to hold it in
I've got one with the two screw too, I also bought two 9mm recievers from SAW and they came with the conversion, that was unexpected and a fantastic surprise

There is a Takedown conversion Pin with a spring loaded bb on the end made just for the purpose you mention, I have one I bought a long time ago I use on an old Colt SP1. I purchased it from a place that is no longer in business (LL Bastion).
Someone still has to make them !

Brownell's sells that very pin. I bought one about three weeks ago.

ADCO drilled my Colt 9mm for a detent and spring so I could use a regular push pin.  You might look into that.
