Did colt drop the hbars for good or do they just run a batch of them occasionally? Don’t see them listed on the website however I still see other models such as the 6720 and 6721 for sale that aren’t listed on their page at all

I wonder what the demand is for a 20in HBAR these days.

There is a pretty steady demand. People like the Match AR and the Elite HBAR in SS and chrome-lined carbon steel. Looking at GB, there is a steady flow. I am building one from parts. Not a bad shooter.

I own one as a dedicated IAR/SAW upper that will be paired with a binary trigger soon enough, but I'm sure their overall market share is very small. Mostly high-power/CMP guys, I presume.

Criterion makes HBAR chrome lined barrels if you want to build.

I spoke with Colt last month and they told me 20" HBAR barrels are no longer made.

I have two 20" HBAR's that I purchased before the Clinton ban. Neither has ever been fired and both came with bayonet's.Cool rifles with a greyish finish. Was shooting mini's at the time and bought the Colt's in anticipation of the ban. Been wondering what they are worth? Don't know what the collector value is.
