The older I get, the more back in time I stretch (or try to). A sign of age.

Thanks
On your moly resin, do 63% flat gray-black, 37% flat black to match the older gray anodizing. |

I like how we both touched up our A2 uppers with a Badger Ordnance charging handle. Nice.

Here’s my humble offering, a E1/604 to A2 rebuild clone, it only seemed proper given the Capco upper:

Thanks much. The optic is wholly more capable than the Colt-style optics that usually go on a build like this.

First Ar15 build, I just need a new 1/16 roll pin for the rear sight as i broke it in half installing it, that and forward assist spring

Got me one of those older original Japanese 4x optics for the carry handle (apparently from one of the companies that made it for Colt) but this one has the rare illumination feature - seems to sit pretty with this build

Would be neat to run a course of fire with each of our setups to see which one is... "better."

My brother and I have consecutive serial PSA Snek lowers and we decided to build M16A2 clones. Picked up this LMT "blem" upper for $85 from Brownells. I can only find one or two spots where the anodizing is jacked up. I have a rear sight assembly, birdcage, barrel nut on the way. Hoping to have it finished before the snow falls. |

All FN surplus except the lower. I love this rifle already and I haven't even shot it yet. Parts arrived from SharkArms today. |

Familiarity and prolonged exposure without incident leads to a loss of appreciation of risk.

This makes me sad because I had one just like it and when the A1 wasn’t “cool” anymore I slaughtered it and wish I had it back like it was. That 9mm looks great!
