Quite a while back one of our members had posted a pistol which had a home made plate on the back, a 4-6 " barrel on a all mounted on a flat top. Im pretty sure this might have been in the nfa items as there was discussion about instaling a folding stock.  Did anyone save a picture of his pistol that they could post?

Was it this one?

The backplate isn't homemade; it's a product from the good guys at ACE.  The stock can be detached, leaving just the adapter in back, and it'd make a nice pistol.

AHHHGHHH!!! thats so sweet.  Are you happy with the ceiner kit? I keep toying with getting a dedicated .22 upper for this, but in truth im sure a pray and spray would work just fine.

Thanks, I DO love .22 for a number of reasons, the biggest probably being the ability to hose 30 in a couple of seconds and realize I just launched 40 cents downrange instead of 6 dollars.

Ceiner kits do work well with hotter ammo and longer barrels.  When you begin messing with stubby barrels and subsonic ammo, it will require some tinkering, spring swaps, stuff like that.  If you like to tweak your guns, it's an enjoyable process.  If the thought of taking your lower apart or changing an extractor causes cold sweats, just stick with mini-mags or other HV ammo, and a longer barrel.  It'll run fine after some break in.

Two or three $6 bricks of ammo will set you up all day... just get an M60 Joe mag loader, or some kids who like to load.  Or get an LM7!!
