edit....pics are back up.

It is finished.

A 80% billet receiver, LMT 10.5 Upper, Samco M33 handguards, Bushnell Holosight, ARMS 40 BUIS, DPMS complete bolt and carrier, DPMS lower parts kit, ACE pistol buffer tube.

Runs like a champ and I am amazed at the accuracy.   It will make a great Coyote gun.
I like the two tone look with the raw aluminum...may just clearcoat it.

Looks good so far...

How much work did you put into the lower to go from 80 to 100%?

Very nice.  How/why did you decide on the LMT 10.5" Upper?  I've been thinking the same thing.

I got a good deal on the LMT upper, and I wanted at least a 10" barrell, so thats what I ended up with.

I built this pistol for a coyote truck gun, we have a lot of country roads around here and lots of coyotes.
Out on the ranch, I can use this in my vehicle, it's a lot easier to use inside the cab than a 16" barrel.

I also wanted the M4 feedramps for reliability, and found the LMT on the EE for a good price.

I have a Pro Ordnance AR pistol with the shorter barrel, 5 or 6" I think....and it is inaccurate as hell....this 10.5" LMT is very accurate out to 200 yards.

Thanks, Cableman.

I too want this as a car gun.  Unfortunately, NH hunting laws prohibit a loaded rifle in a car.  I'm putting together the pistol since that can be loaded as long as you have a CCW permit.

Same law here in WA....no loaded rifles, but you can have a loaded pistol...I just wish I could SBR it here in WA.

I thought it was no machine guns in WA.  You can't have SBR's either?  What about other NFA items?

Update - shot a coyote at about 50 yards with my homebuilt AR pistol yesterday.

I shot a double tap at him and got him with the first shot.

I am very happy with this gun.
