Our own .308 AR FAQ, last edited in 2014
claims that Armalite uppers will fit on DPMS lowers, and that the LPKs are interchangeable, although the takedown pins are different lengths. This thread from 2010 claims they won't work together, and that the pivot pins are different sizes - which they are, but apparently not in diameter. |

The Armalite holes are a tiny bit smaller than the DPMS pins. You could ream them out, but then it probably wouldn't work with an Armalite lower. |

I guess then the question becomes are the centers identical? We already have bushings to adapt large pin lowers to modern uppers, and apparently that's used for POF uppers on DPMS lowers, as well. |
