Haven't used .300blk yet, only 5.56.
Something to note that I didn't think about earlier, and this reminded me. If you want to swap uppers while using the Deadfoot system. You can't just pull your pins and put another upper on it. In order to break it down, you have to unscrew the cap that threads on the buffer tube, and pull the springs and plunger out. This is not difficult to do by any means, but it is worth mentioning.
Someone mentioned trigger access. I have never had an issue. There is plenty of space between the stock and the side of the lower. But it does come with a very small stock that uses their own buffer tube seen here:

I prefer the Strike Industries stock over the OEM Deadfoot when shooting without gear on as it can be extremely uncomfortable without padding.
