I'm a Magpul fan, so I use M-Lok mostly.
I didn't have any Keymod or large cheeze-grater rails so it makes sense for me, plus I can add pic-rail anytime I need it. |

Has the universal rail attachment method of 10-32 screws and rails can be placed every 45 deg.

I hate the big bulky cheese grader quads, but this is starting to get stupid. Whats this geissele rail? M-LOK = metal Magpul rails...  I have been living under a rock...

I'm sure there will be a new kid on the block with yet another "better" attachment method any day now. VHS and Betamax duked it out to only be replaced by DVD, then Blu Ray, etc.
Frankly, Scarlett, I dont give a damn. I do like modular and being able to eliminate rail slots that will never be used. But, my atachment method is to use removable mini-Picatinny rails only where needed, and to stick to universally accepted Picatinny based accessories, usually in QD mounts. Ditch the wasted unused rail slots, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Picatinny works. |
