Any idea on the ETA on this?

Any competitive options?

Not a single person knows about this product or about any other options for folding AR15 stock adapters?

No info on when it's coming out, but as for the competition, I have yet to find anything that comes close to this product.

I think a lot of folks are of the mind that there are more graceful solutions to this problem than a folding stock adapter.  SCAR.  ARX100.  ACR.  etc.

If anyone knew for sure they would say something. My guess is as good as yours. Did you try going to Law's website for any updates?

As far as any other options for an AR sidefolder, not that I know of using the traditional AR15 operating system.

I won't ditch my Gen II for a new model, but I wouldn't mind being able to retrofit the newer bolt carrier extension.

I just ran across an entry on The Firearm Blog about the Gen 3:

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/08/07/sneak-peak-law-tactical-gen-3-folding-stock-adapter/

This is tempting - I have a 14.5" that would be a good candidate for one.  Having the ability to stash it in a lower profile bag in my trunk is very appealing.  I'm not worried about the inability to fire it folded at all since I would only use it for transport mode and would always have an empty chamber when folded.

They have sent out the first runs to industry partners, I've been seeing them being reviewed on the web and Instagram and Facebook. Looks like it's only a matter of time before it's released. Definitely going to be impressive based on the reviews!

Definitely looking forward to the lowered hinge. I kept catching my fingers on the Gen 1 adapter

Bump.

I've got a pistol with sig brace and I think I can put one on and keep my pistol a legal pistol but wondering about reliability from folks out there that have them on a pistol...or rifle.

It's out already and I use it on my 11.5". So far so good. The lower hinge is nice. I use the pinch method, and it clears my fingers just fine. A lefty friend has a gen 2, so it doesn't bother him. It will fit in a regular backpack even with a 11.5" upper. As far as I know, there is really no other options out there for a compact AR using the standard DI system.
