You can, but the barrel will have to be cut for the pins. ADCO charges $90-$130 to do it.

Well crap. What other gas blocks can I put on it then? Maybe a low profile?

I don't know the barrel OD off the top of my head, but I'll venture that someone makes a lo-pro gas block that would fit. What's wrong with the existing set up?

If you're going to go lo-pro, why not get a longer rail? It will fit over a lo-pro block. There are a bunch of great folding front sights that are handguard rail mountable. JMO.
