I'm trying to decide what barrel to buy for a new 5.56
precision rig. I'm trying to decide between a Krieger by Compass lake enginering. Or A JP barrel.

The Jp is a heavy barrel, button rifled, cryo treated, that you can get in a kit with a Tacticle brake and adjustable gas block. Cost $499.00

The Kreiger is the barrel only. Cut rifled. Cost $428.00

Both have a reputation for extreame accuracy.
Any suggestions or alternatives. I will be spending the time and money to ring the utmost in accuracy out of this set up. 1/4 to 3/8 inch 100 yard 5 shot groups are the goal

The rest of the parts are already in hand and include:

1. Mega upper and lower.
2. Young NM carrier group.
3. JP free float forarm
4. Geissele match trigger
5. Optic / Leupold 6.5x 20
